Drama Team Meeting/ Training.
Are you interested in becoming part of VCSM’s drama team? Are you interested in acting, directing, helping with costumes and props, or taking care of lights and sound? There will be a meeting after church this Sunday, March 14th from 12:30-1:30 p.m. We will be doing training exercises, and brainstorming/ discussing the next series. RSVP to Christina with questions, or just show up!

Prayer Requests for VCSM
We have a couple requests related to Challenge. While we currently have only a couple spots left for Challenge, the thought of turning down a student is upsetting. Please pray for increased charter bus space to allow as many students to go as possible. (currently working with bus company and other youth group who will be traveling with us)
Also, we know of several students who are having a difficult time deciding based on their financial situation. Let’s pray that finances would not restrict anyone from going to Challenge. And as a few students look to raise support through letter writing – that people would be generous in their gift offerings.
The last prayer request at this point for Challenge is our overnight stay on June 28th. We are working with a couple churches in Ohio to house our group the first night (the other nights are taken care of through the Challenge Conference). Pray for favor from one/both of these churches.
This semester we have seen an increase in new students checking out VCSM. Praise the Lord! It is overly apparent that many students in the youth group have a growing heart for their lost and disconnected friends. Please join us in praying that our new guests would connect, and ultimately find VCSM as a group to belong to.
Finally, the high school ministry is in need of godly men and women to join the team of adult leaders. While summertime is typically the season of recruitment, there are great needs at this time in VCSM. Pray that those with a heart for students and the Lord would step forward. We believe the Spirit of God desires for all of us to serve the Body of Christ. There are many gifts and many wonderful places to exercise those gifts. We are confident that God will call the right people to the youth ministry at Valley Church. Pray for boldness and a willing spirit of those whom God may be calling.
